Beasts of the Southern Wild was my favorite movie of the year so I'm supporting all of its nominations tonight. It will have to be a miracle for it to happen, but hey!

Yes! It's hard to believe that it came from a first-time director and a group of first-time actors...and with a tiny budget. Easily the best and most important movie released in 2012.
