the final act is a mess, I'll give you that, but overall the screenplay and writing for it was far more original and daring than anything nominated for BP.

I also don't get the Tommy Lee Jones or Sally Fields nominations. Jones was, well, Jones in a wig. And Fields was just there, nothing special.

The Master was better than Life of Pi ... I'll give you that. But I wasn't really that impressed with it as a whole ... it felt (like Lincoln) like pure Oscar-bait.

Seth Rogen is currently convincing people via twitter that he's hosting tonight.

Man, I loved everything about Looper, even more after watching it a second time.

I used to not be able to stand him, burning loved every movie he has directed and a lot of his old movies are complete and utter guilty pleasures of mine even though I know they are terrible (phantoms and reindeer games to name a few).
