He's not asking that much comparing to what other bands want for their albums, I've seen bands on the site post that the need 100 to 500 grand or even more for their albums. Plus he's rewarding fans with very unique rewards.

Also includes touring costs, which id imagine include all apsects of set props, promo, etc... at the shows.

I thought a lot of it was lost in the fires a few years ago, but insurance probably covered it. Either way, he's probably still paying off all the studio equipment
