Loved Shadow Moses, hated Antivist, is the rest of the album better than that song?
waaaaayyy better. Antivist is an outlier, probably to get the moshpits going live. Give it a shot for sure. The atmosphere and emotions are intense, and Oli's vocals are way better than ever.
They may ever be this good again that can make you cry.
All depends on how much this is Jona
But no coincidence they stepped up when he came these last 2
And now he's gone/kicked out
The band says Jona contributed little to the final product.
On track 7 and I gotta say this wasn't what I expected at all. Oli can actually sing!
I know! That shocked me. While the vocals have always fit their music, it's never really been a highlight. On here, they blew me away, especially the cleans.
not in terms of creativity, plus killswitch isn't really a metalcore band....That's actually an insult to them
Killswitch were one of the defining bands in Melodic Metalcore, and even as they got more mainstream, they kept a lot of those elements. I'm not sure what you think metalcore is.
From Jona now
“Thanks to all my loyal fans for sticking by me during this awkward time. I’m glad you have the ability & sense to make up your own minds given the lack of information and truth you have been provided with regarding this whole Bmth situation.”
i have no doubt he began the writing process with the band, but the timeline seems to make BMTH's argument seem more logical.
It's a mediocre explanation, but I assume he's arguing a belief of mine that secular culture can promote moral guidelines as well, Christianity doesn't make you any more moral than anyone else.
