I was in favor of Morrissey backing out of the performance, but honestly, that second "statement" was immature and completely pointless. Kimmel definitely has taken the higher road.

He wasn't being silly at all. Nothing is wrong with making a decision with your principles in mind. Just because you disagree, doesn't mean he did something wrong.

I think that's definitely a reasonable alternative, but I don't criticize him for the route he originally took.
