What are some albums that you know you shouldn't like but do anyway, whether you're ashamed or proud of it?

I'll start things off with this:

Now, I have nothing against these guys personally (from what I can tell, they're stand-up dudes), but I really don't think they make good music (at least while they were on Victory, I haven't heard anything after that). However, as simple and generic as this record is, I love every single song on it, and still give it a regular listen. It's almost like it's so simple that the predictability is comforting, if that makes sense. I will give them points for atmosphere though. Whether intentional or not, it's a great record to smoke a bowl to. Niki FM is my jam.

I've been meaning to make a similar thread like this. Was going to call it "Guilty Pleasures" but this works too haha. My biggest shame is my love for Korn. They seemed cool when I was a kid and I got way into them and I guess I just never completely grew out of them. I also recently mentionedon the recommendations thread I'm not to proud to admit that I enjoy this album

I'm 24 but I enjoy every Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, and Taylor Swift album.
And Avril Lavingne's first two albums.

Great voices, great songs.
Proud of those albums and I'll defend them to my grave.

Suck it mainstream haters.

a lot of Relient K

sometimes there is nothing better to put on when driving with the windows down. they are so ultra-Christian it hurts and their music sounds like it never left 10th grade, but they are damn good at what they do.

one of my favorite relient K songs is actually about Christianity. it's probably the only time you'll ever hear Matt Thiessen question it in his music though

Cringe-worthy lyrics and very little to offer creatively (like any Plain White T's record), but the energy throughout is outstanding and it has some fun lead guitar lines. Would I recommend it to anyone looking for solid pop-punk? Not at all. Would I jam to it whole cleaning my house or driving in the summer? Absolutely.

I still jam The Spirit Room by Michelle Branch occasionally.

Edit: Not ashamed about this either.

I think they talk about their faith (normally) in a very approachable way that's not like bashing anyone over the head with their Bibles. I have 0 shame in listening to to Relient K haha.

I See Stars - The End of the Party.

Honestly I should hate everything about that album: The horrendous production, the absymal lyrics and generic scene musicianship.
But for some reason I still spin it every now and then.
