Just saw him last night opening for Gaslight Anthem and Bouncing Souls. I understand what he's doing, and he is a great guitar player, but his music just isn't for me.

He opened up for Chris Carrabba on Dashboard Confessional's Swiss Army Romance 10th Anniversary tour. He was awesome and I bought two of his cds. Guy is great, especially if you can catch him live acoustic.

saw him open for City & Colour back in 2011, and he was fantastic live, but I bought one of his CDs and can't get into it...

IMO Mutt is definitely better.

See i'm the opposite of pretty much everyone else, "The Hell You Say" is the only album of his that I can really get into as a whole. With that being said, his ability to be saccharinely sweet one second and bitter and angry the next gets me every time.

The Letterman performance is really great.
