i agree that it was good for them to do that but it sucks for the actual boy scouts. Those kids work hard and really look forward to Jamboree. I was a boy scout briefly and that's all those kids talked about.

On this topic though, my cousin is the most openly gay person I know and became an eagle scout. Is it on a troop to troop basis?

i wondered that too. i also wonder if these artists actually knowingly sign up for shows like this, or if their management team just schedules it all, and then the artist just goes with the flow to wherever they say to go next.

My thoughts exactly.

Artists usually don't really choose what fests they play. Most likely, their agents got the invite followed by a $-,000 offer. I doubt the artists themselves have the time to sit down and research every organization that hires them.
