Now that they've finally confirmed the Winnipeg show I can post this, haha. I was expecting the Garrick, but the Pyramid is even more intimate so I'm happy. Stoked Silverstein are finally bringing The Wonder Years to western Canada!

By the way, I'm not 100% sure that the Wonder Years are playing the Ontario shows. On Silverstein's Facebook page they say the band is on select dates and I'm assuming it's only the western Canadian ones...

Are TWY on every date?

I think we're road tripping to Ottawa.

Weird if TWY is playing mavericks though. They headlined a bigger venue in Ottawa on the gk.

Like I said according to Silverstein they aren't, The Wonder Years still haven't made an official announcement, but I know Soupy reads the site so maybe he'll come into this thread and confirm.

And the Winnipeg venue is smaller than I was expecting as well. I see kids wearing TWY merch at other shows so I'm assuming the turnout will be pretty good. I don't know how well Silverstein is doing, I haven't seen them since 2009, but that's because they usually tour with metalcore bands I don't care about.

Somewhat but not completely. For the Short Songs tour, Silverstein brought out Daytrader and Such Gold, two bands form The Wonder Years' scene. It doesn't hurt that they're both on Hopeless either.

They are also playing the Winnipeg one. Unless Silverstein is lying and I doubt they'd do that.

I copied the list from a Facebook post where they said these were the only dates they were playing, so idk for sure actually. Itd be strange for them to not play that one date amongst the others.

Wait... never mind. That is so stupid. Why would they go between Thunder Bay and Regina?! They have to drive through Winnipeg to get there...... sick of bands always pretending that Winnipeg doesn't exist.

And they just updated their Facebook page saying they just forgot to add the Winnipeg date! Thank God, there's no way they were going to get away with skipping us, haha. Especially after they covered a Weakerthans song.
