ok, that's cool too. I just think it sounds great when he belts it and think it sounds awkward in this video. If he or you disagree with that then awesome.

I think he is just being cautious more than anything. He probably knows his limits and that the note in "dark" isn't always easy to pull off. Maybe not though, because it is safe to assume he does belt it during a real show, so..... Yeah, not sure I guess.
