I have no idea why more people didn't catch on to Able Bodies. One hell of a record. Top 5 record from last year, no question.

This and the version of Paintings stand up to the studio versions.

Absolutely fantastic. Able Bodies was my #1 last year, and these exemplify the studio recordings perfectly. Can't wait to see them in Lansing with Lydia next month.

Totally agree - personally, I had never heard of these guys until reading the EOTY lists - saw them on Jack's list at #1, so I had to check them out. Ever since, I've wondered how these guys aren't huge on this site. They should be.

Randomly caught onto these guys after their pay-what-you-want EP on bandcamp. So good. I wish they would come to the UK though :(

1. It's absurdly cool to see people care about our recommendations on this site.
2. I think they just need to get out there and play - when we premiered "Breaking My Bones," people went bananas (and rightfully so) - to get those diehards fans, people just need to see them play. I'm thinking that Lydia tour will greatly increase their fanbase.

But so glad people are starting to take notice. Great band.

I got into them from your EOTY list as well. Got a few others into the band as well, stemming from that.
