Bird Dialect is pleased to announce the first vinyl release from Il Cattivo, an LP entitled How to Assess Your Damages (EXALT-003), available March 16th. Featuring members of Planes Mistaken for Stars, Ghost Buffalo, Black Lamb, Black Acid Devil and Burn Sand Burn, the Denver-based group has spent the last few years honing to perfection its unique mix of post-hardcore rock n roll and soulful melodic expression. How to Assess Your Damages is the follow-up to the self-released 2011 debut, To Bring Low an Empire, and the band’s first vinyl release.

WALLS - This Philadelphia born and bred rock quartet is built on a foundation of driving rhythms and powerful choruses. The band recently recorded their debut EP “Lionhearted” with up and coming producer Will Yip (Man Overbaord, Circa Survive, Title Fight, CKY). "Lionhearted," which is slated for an early March release, is a strong debut effort that is as honest as it is melodic, and paves the way for Walls to make major strides in 2013.

(Philadelphia, PA) Following the positive response to their debut EP The Responsible Artist Pterofractyl (multi-instrumentalist Zachary Guy-Frank) has recorded his second EP inspired by his love of old-school Nintendo video games. The album titled The Missing Animal is bound to grab the ears of fans of Prog-Rock, Heavy Metal and any child who grew up playing video games.

“This album was conceived in the spirit of the limitless joy and epic excitement I felt playing Nintendo as a child,” said Guy-Frank. “Those experiences left a lasting impression on me creatively. After years of writing lyrics it was exciting to work on an entirely instrumental album. ‘The Missing Animal’ was born out of a desire to encapsulate childhood memories without the use of words.”

The album was entirely recorded, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by Zachary Guy-Frank. In just 3 months Guy-Frank went from The Missing Animal’s original inception to a completed final product which was released this month.

Keep an eye for when Pterofractyl comes to your town for an impressive blending of sounds that defies genre.
