Usually dig this band, but the screams aren't really working for me. Cleans are fantastic though. Maybe it will just take a few listens to grow on me.

No it does not. The new screams don't bother me, the chug centric structure and cheesy lyricism bother me. Band can do better than that.

I do like the new screams but I enjoy the old ones better. He does have some deeper guttier ones and they sound really good. Its almost a treat to hear it.

vocals sound great, cleans are a lot more prominent throughout the album which is a good thing. also the album itself is really diverse. steadfast, silver lining and smoke and mirrors are my favorites so far.

I don't know what to think, I feel like these songs don't really flow all that well idk maybe it will grow on me, but my devil in your eyes will always be the best

I enjoy the band a good amount and I like his new Drew York-esque screaming style but I can't help but be annoyed how they won that "most anticipated". Wasn't really their fault but it boggles my mind how legions of youngsters are moronic enough to think that a band winning that title by submitting the same band's name 5 times is a legitimate way at winning.

The screams make it hard for me to listen to, they're horrendous. And the album as a whole isn't as exciting as the last one was.

new screaming is different but its not bad by any means, people just arent open to the change i guess... his singing has improved amazingly on this record. think ill be picking this bad boy up along with the new senses fail

if this really is everyone's #1 most anticipated album then a lot of people are surely disapointed

I like the new screams because of the vocalist's comments on them and the fans' reactions. He said he knew they wouldn't be well-received because change uncomfortable to get used to, but I believe his words were something like "If I was getting milk at 2am and my cat snuck up behind me, I think this is more what I'd scream like. The metalcore screams were just fake." I respect him for that. The music's alright. They definitely have tons of potential, but they need to find a way to capitalize on it.
