Am I the only one that feels like Travis is the only one with any energy onthis track?

I like this a lot more than In a Warzone. A really nice tune.

But I couldn't find any hip hop influence in both of the known tracks from the new record. In a Warzone sounds like a 2000 era Rancid song, this sounds like one of those Tim Timebomb solo tracks.

I agree with the second part, although I like In a Warzone a lot more.

I'm ok with the lack of hip hop. Thoroughly enjoyable. I feel like they got a little carried away with the hip hop influence in their last album.

Both songs thus far have sounded like Rancid songs to me. But I have to say--Rob has become quite a bit more adept at singing, and this latest song is way better than anything on the last Rancid album (which I dug).

It does feel a bit odd that it lacks any of the hip-hop elements from the first two Transplants records, but if the rest of the record has some straight rock cuts (a la "Madness" or "Doomsday" and the latest released track) I'd certainly be okay with it.

Given that the longest track is only 3.15 and almost half clock in at 2.00 or less then id say this album is going to be more punk/rock than the other albums
