Chicago IL--April 24, 2008 -- Masquerade Recordings (A Lumberjack Mordem distributed label) has signed Heart Set Self Destruct. After months of air play on Chicago rock radio, K-Rock LA, and various other local and college radio stations a mini bidding war ensued. Gaining steam, HSSD received an onslaught of attention from the industry and Masquerade Recordings prevailed and signed the band for a three record deal. Representatives from Masquerade stated, “We as a label are very excited to add another great rock band to our roster, we expect huge things from HSSD”. HSSD has quickly become a staple in the Chicago hard rock music scene. This band has an infectious sound, and they will immediately remind fans why their hearts beat for rock-n-roll.

Their record “Victims Like Me” will be available through all digital outlets and at the band’s shows in June. Fans can expect melodic lead vocals combined with elements of punk and metal influence. HSSD will be touring heavily in the summer (08), check the band’s myspace for shows close to you. great original music. they're name is also original. they're doing great touring with some big names. dam fun to kick it with. I've never heard them say one bad thing about another band and be haters like some of you lames.
