lol what is this even supposed to mean

I'm not sure what he means by that, but I wouldn't doubt that the sample was taken out due to copyright issues. When the EP was free, it didn't matter.

Is it me, or do these songs sound a bit slower? I think these recordings take away the energy that the songs once had. The mix of the second song sounds totally different than the other ones; the vocals are buried underneath the guitars and bass. Overall, this is a bad remaster.

some fans will always prefer rawer/demo type stuff, especially if that's what they heard first. I think the remaster sounds great because I can actually hear the guitar parts and bass lines a lot clearer and hear the song composition better throughout.

The first two tracks sound totally different. You can hear the vocals clearly in the first track and then they are buried in the second. Because of that inconsistency, I didn't even care to listen after that. This release was poorly mastered, and I think that is what all of these people are hearing. I'm all for remasters if they actually improve the quality of the recording, and this is definitely not the case here, which is a real bummer.
