I like Nolan, like most people. I just am sick of the same faces getting all the glory. It's creating these false dynasties in Hollywood and prevents other filmmakers from getting ahead.
Sam Mendes, someone who really hasn't had his hand at a pure blockbuster (Jarhead sort of aside) seemed like giving him a Bond film as his break into more mainstream cinema felt right. And I applaud him for not attempting to do another (granted they wanted him for another).
Who knows. A Nolan Bond could be incredible, it just feels like the Bond producers are trying to revitalize the franchise by getting a name that is synonymous with success at the box office. (no shit, I know)
