War Paint was my favorite album of 2011, so I'm incredibly excited that you think this tops it. That said, I am worried about monotony. War Paint was great in spite of the monotony, which was a testament to how strong all the songs were, but I'm not sure how long they can keep that up.

But still, incredibly excited.

Transatlanticism is the album that does this perfectly, in my opinion.
That's the first album that popped into my mind when I read that comment. Transatlanticism is such a perfect climax and like you've said, it's a cyclical experience with A Lack of Color being able to move right back into The New Year. Ahh.

Tried to follow that conversation but all Searos' comments said the same thing so I just zoned out.

Surprised at the negativity. I think it's at least on par with War Paint.

I've enjoyed it. Miles Apart is one of their best songs. Will never surpass the first two records though. The end of Anchor as well... no no no.
What exactly is so bad about the end of Anchor?
