Pearl Jam have announced dates for their new tour starting later this fall. You can find the dates in the replies. Also, the band has put up another countdown on their site. Think it could be the release date for a new single?

Hope they play "Oceans" in Brooklyn.

Can't wait, Pearl Jam puts on such a great live show, they're still at the top of their game, over 20 years in.

I'd love to go to that Charlotte date, but I doubt I'd be able to drive up to Charlotte on a Wednesday in October because of classes. Damn.

I'd like to see PJ since I never have, but tickets for this aren't going to be cheap. Plus I'm not usually a fan of arena tours.

Anyone know who's supporting?

edit: also, I thought PJ was "anti-ticketmaster" - Why is ticketmaster selling tickets for this?

In the 90's, when Pearl Jam boycotted Ticketmaster, they were forced to deal with non-TM venues- basically out-of-the-way, hard-to-get-to places that weren't ideal to handle their sized crowds. TM even started bullying promoters not to deal with PJ. Realizing this was all too much of a hassle for their fans, they licked their wounds and went back to dealing with Ticketmaster over a decade ago.

Also, while I agree about arena tours, Pearl Jam is one of the rare bands who can make their arena shows feel as intimate as a club show. I've seen them five times and I can say the large crowd actually works to their advantage in that respect.
