Band has a huge ska background and lot of their earlier releases have heavy ska influences. Might not be so prevalent on this record though but I feel like it's part of their identity.
yeah there's a whole bunch of ska undertones on this record. it's not super blatant all the time but sometimes it is, i.e. intro to "the rock & the wring." but you can totally tell they've been listening to other stuff besides ska and it's all fused into this crazy catchy hybrid.
