Posted by: Christian Wagner (08/30/13)
Read an interview with producer Sean O'Keefe in the replies, in which he talks about recording the first tracks from Take This To Your Grave and recording Plain White T's "Hey There, Delilah."
Those recordings and mixes ended up getting Fall Out Boy their record deal. They went on the record as-is and ended up becoming the singles too.

Something I used to do after my sessions (and still do to this day) is get in my car at night and drive a couple hours out of the city so I can listen to music and decompress. I love doing that. It's very therapeutic for me and I can't imagine I'll ever stop doing it.

Shit, that's pretty cool and extremely relate-able.

Agreed. Love Patrick's view point of the whole thing. For those who don't know what he's talking about, check it here: http://www.patrickstump.com/post/498...e-fall-out-boy

Cool, while I can't honestly get into Fall Out Boy anymore(their music is just kind of corny to me, but I still like some of their songs), the recording process is always an interesting one especially from the perspective of a producer, even when it isn't an composer/arranger type producer.

Lets just say you'd buy him 3 for safe measure.
