Well, ASD has decided to go full Generic Rise. They were different before, with more intricate drum parts, interesting guitar melodies, and a distinctive voice. Now, chugs and generic breakdown patterns ahoy, with Jag trying his hardest to sound like everyone else.
It's a fucking shame, they were the one of the only good bands of their type.
That said, I still liked one of the songs they've released, but the other two (and The Fallen off the Deluxe) are pretty mediocre.
So I can sadly say I listened to these guys in 8th/9th grade when they first started and until Jag became a member. Even though I listened to a lot of other music that is extremely respectable and far different from this stuff, I played into some of the awful fads that came to be popular from 03-07 and these guys definitely were not this terrible then. I know it isn't saying much but I mean this is textbook scenecore nonsense and I would think with time and growing up they'd increase their creativity, not the opposite.
This is the best thing this band ever did. Again, not saying much. But at least it's not the generic bullshit they've spewed on teenagers for what, 3 albums since?
