This one is my favorite, it may not be the most complex musically, but the dirty 70's bar room rock feeling is a sound that can't be beat.

Also when I saw the tour for this Butch came out and joined Shovels and Rope for a quick rendition of Bullet Belt. definitely a different sound from the huge rocker on the album, but fun non the less

It's probably fourth for me, after the 2004 to 2008 streak, but yeah, I love it.

I really don't get why he doesn't play "Bullet Belt." It's a ready-made encore song.

I absolutely love this album. I listen to it all the time and never get tired of any of it. And it is essentially made to be played live and is SO GOOD to rock out to in person!

Definitely. I'll be okay if "Summer of '89" never leaves the live set.

Interested by how many people hold this up to be his best/near his best work. I think it's a great album, but it doesn't come close to his more "serious" records for me.
