Self-Promotion Spotlight: Shore Acres Drive

Posted by: Kelly Doherty (10/27/13)
This week on the Self Promotion Forum, I came across Shore Acres Drive, a one man acoustic emo/punk band. Taking inspiration from the likes of Modern Baseball and Into It. Over It. and then adding an acoustic twist, the band's debut single "I Adjust" is both catchy and perfect for any angsty moment. Check out the single and a cover of Modern Baseball's "The Weekend" on the band's Bandcamp as 'name your price'. Interested in being a part of the Self-Promotion Spotlight? It's easy, just sign up for an AbsolutePunk.net account and post in the Self-Promotion forum.

"I Adjust" is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by his voice. His cover of "The Weekend" is a little weird at first because it doesn't sound right with his voice but the latter half of the song gets better. I'll definitely check out whatever this dude does next.
