Awesome review Kelly.

Record is incredible, although I don't know if anything will top The Suburbs for me. I love the dark/dance-y/Talking Head vibes this album gives off, but I feel it gets a little self-indulgent at brief moments. "Normal Person", though...such a jam.

all im saying is when im old and my kids ask me who the band of my generation was i'll say radiohead with no hesitation. i dont think i'll be wrong

While I agree that I'm on the Radiohead side of this discussion, I still just think it's too early to tell, especially with bands like Brand New and The Wonder Years pushing the envelope of their respected "genres" with each release. It also depends on how you'd define "the band of our generation"...by success? Fall Out Boy. Critical Acclaim? Green Day. Influence? Blink-182. I'm not sure how far our generation extends, but I would put up a pretty big argument for Foo Fighters.

I just don't think there has to be...only one. Haha.
