Their last album grew on me, particularly the tracks where Wade used clean vocals. "Depravers" was probably my favourite track -- reminds me of his vocal style in Alexisonfire.
Yes !! I think a heavier direction would suit Wade's vocals better, like in that song and in "Cross Of Lorraine" which were my favorite songs. I thought the more conventional punk sounding songs weren't that good.
At first, I couldn't believe the rest of this band had the tenacity to still call themselves Gallows and perform Grey Britain material after Frank Carter left the band. Now Steph left the band too and despite the much better music coming out of their new projects Pure Love and Ghost Riders In the Sky, I still appreciate seeing Gallows are still trying to do things and remain a band.
This band would be so much better if they distanced themselves from Frank. Honestly, i dont like Wades vocals, but i applaud his attempts to take over in Gallows. But do you really need to whine about frank at every show? Why talk about it? Ignore it. Eventually Franks fans will stop talking about it. They are like the little brother getting tortured by the older brother. Stop complaining and giving them the reaction they desire and they will stop harassing you about frank.
wow, that was fast.. i thought i would wait for another year for their next album.. they always did the 3 years album cycle, so i thought that 2015 would be the time when i could hear new music from Gallows..
whatever it is, i still hope Alexisonfire is still a band and Gallows is still with frank..
