All's Well That End's Well debuted at #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and Bone Palace Ballet debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, and #1 on the*Billboard Independent, Alternative, Rock and Hard Rock Charts. During a well-documented brief time apart from lead vocalist Owens formed/played with new band D.R.U.G.S. and Chiodos released their third album, Illuminaudio in 2010. Owens reunited with Chiodos in early 2012 and soon after added guitarist Thomas Erak. During the last year, the band played a handful of high profile U.S. shows and toured the UK in early 2013 as part of an annual Kerrang! Magazine branded tour. The band has graced the cover of Alternative Press two times and front man Owens has graced the cover five times. Chiodos has received accolades worldwide praising the band’s innovative and exhilarating sound. The band has been a headliner across the globe, as well as touring with bands such as Linkin Park, Coheed And Cambria, N.I.N., Alice In Chains, 30 Seconds To Mars, Bad Religion and many more.

so it's the original lineup minus lead guitarist replaced by thomas? i actually like this -- sounds like bone palace ballet stuff (which i know they said they were going for). might have to catch this tour. :)
there is a lot of BPB influence on the album but also a lot of new sounds and techniques throughout, it's not a retread of older Chiodos stuff. my favorite song at the moment is Looking for a Tornado

Long time Chiodos fan here and I can't believe I'm saying this...but Illuminaudio is better than the 6 songs I've heard from Devil.
IMO - this is better than Illuminaudio and the best songs haven't been released yet. out of the six - I really like Fishlips, Munsters, 3 AM, and Behvis. Duct Tape grows on you and Under Your Halo is one of the worst songs ever
08:31 PM on 02/18/14
I like the same four you do too, but I don't love them...Halo and Duct Tape are absolutely terrible.
But Caves - and the rest of Illuminaudio is killer throughout the entire album. I'm so bummed I never got to see that Chiodos lineup live.
And trust me - I was completely against Bolmer replacing Craig. I don't know, I just feel like I'm hearing a lot of Drugs in these songs. I hope you're right, and the remainder of the songs make up for what I've heard so far.
honestly I don't hear too much drugs in these songs but I dunno I haven't listened to that album in like forever. I hear a lot of BPB in a lot of songs but they also do some other interesting things. the reaction will be interesting
08:38 PM on 02/18/14
Dang - I'm really trying to hear BPB but I'm not hearing it. I'm surprised I like 3 AM so much, but so far it may be my favorite song.
Excited to hear what the Used put out as well. April 1st will be a good day.
just some of the piano movements and theatrics remind me of Piano - this song does, Sunny Days and Hand Grenades, I Am Everything That's Normal, and even We're Talking About Practice have little moments that remind me of BPB

Alright well I'm pumped. Can't wait for them to start unveiling the new songs.
Sucks that 4 more songs leaked. Hopefully they'll release the remaining songs last.
well those songs leaking were not a surprise - those who pre-ordered it on iTunes got all six at once
