ive had problems lately w/ netflix. mostly it seems like the wait for newer titles is getting longer and longer, and sometimes they randomly take 2 to 3 days to get me my movies when before it was always 1. I can live with it though because it still ends up being worth the money.

I used netflix when I had mono becasue i wasnt doing much and there were a lot of movies i wanted to see. The problem with me is that I was watchign the movies too fast. Nexflix keeps track of how many movies their users are getting a month. Since I watched each movie the day i got it and mailed it back ASAP Netflix deliberately waited to send my next movie out. If the customers are watching movies too frequently, Netflix is losing money so they put a delay on sending the next movies out.

As of current service getting crappy? I'd guess that they are expanding too fast and not getting enough new titles.

i think that these sort of services suck. how horrible is it that people find it inconvenient to go to to a local video store to rent something anymore? it's really not that strenuous and time consuming. in fact, i think it adds to the whole movie watching experience.

If my sister didnt work at blockbuster i'd be using an online service. Not that i'm lazy but there is a good number of movies that the local video stores just dont carry, what they do carry is usually out (thanks to 'no more late fees'), and when i do get something that is over 3 months old it is too scratched to play.

I spend 17.99 a month w/ Netflix watching the amount of movies that would cost me about $75-80 a month at a video store. That's why I use Netflix.

Netflix is probably the best thing ever.

I can watch 8 movies a month, minimum, for 15 bucks a month.

I liked using Blockbuster online for indies & special editions. They tended to have more of the hard to find movies and the extra special editions. Netflix had more of the boring normal editions.

blockbuster has that deal where you can pay about 25 bucks for that unlimited pass where you can rent up to two movies at a time. i did that last summer and saw like two to four movies a day for a month.
