That is a pretty good point....$20 a pop on average for a show or $8-12 for an album....maybe I should change up my method of support haha....I've heard bands get more money from touring than the actual album sales though so maybe I will just keep going to the shows!:)

I think you're right about them getting more money through shows plus merch. I would also assume that if you bought the album at the show they'd get more of the money. But like I said before, if you download the music for free or get a burned disc or whatever and that comples you to go to a show and/or buy merch then I don't see the problem, unless you could have done both, which for a lot of ppl is a problem.

part of me, when i first started listening to anberlin and seeing shows years ago, i felt he was a tad bit egocentric. he seemed so sheltered and cut-off. i didn't know much about them or about him, but through the years, you get involved with a band and their music so your opinion completely changes and you realize that you had no basis for your previous judgment. i figured out long ago that stephen christian is just another person looking for answers. he's a great human being.
