its not as if the news is only reported via twitter, its just another avenue of communication. If you don't like the site, then don't go to it. The only thing i dont like about twitter is the amount of bitching people do about it. If you dont use it, ignore it! i could care less about twitter as well but you dont see me being fucking annoying about it.
