This album and band blows the rest of the "scene" to pieces. I've been listening to Ribbons & Sugar a lot lately and that album also just kills it.

There is NO band more underrated than Gatsby's American Dream in this "scene."

Very nice review. GAD is one of my all-time favorite bands. It's a shame that they aren't making music anymore, but their many side-projects have kept me satisfied enough I guess.

Just picked this album up a few days ago after I looked up the video for Theatre on Youtube, as it had been engraved in the back of my head from '05. This album is pretty good.

meh, i tried but i just can't get into this album and even this band in general. it just sounds bland to me. "The Horse You Rode In On" is an incredible song though, it's a shame they haven't made more songs like this one. i'll listen to their S/T soon
