Chris Carrabba has started a new group called Twin Falls. The band consists of himself on vocals and guitar, Suzie Zeldin (The Narrative) on mandolin and vocals, bassist Jonathan Clark and drummer Ben Homola (Bad Books). You can read more details about the group over at AltPress.
Today we are giving away one deluxe vinyl record of Bad Books recent album II. They are about to embark on short winter tour (you can find the dates in the replies), so we thought what better to get people excited than to give away a free record? Just tell me why you're excited to see the band on tour and my favorite answer will win the record. Good luck.
Kevin Devine and Andy Hull didn't want Bad Books to be a one time thing, and with Bad Books II, they're also showing it's not a one trick pony. Today we're bringing you the premiere of "It Never Stops," which can be heard in the replies. The song carries like an angsty Wilco cut found on a Ryan Adams record. Let us know what you think in the replies. Pre-orders for the album can be found here.
Read a lengthy, interesting interview with Riley Breckenridge of Thrice about drums and music writing here. The interview comes from the new website started by Benjamin Homla of Bad Books. It's going to be dedicated to drummers with interviews, photos, videos, and more.
Today, two of AP.net's most beloved artists, Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra's Andy Hull, released their collaborative debut under the moniker Bad Books. If you haven't picked up the album yet, we have an entire stream of the album on their AP.net profile for you. As a casual listener of the music that both of these musicians make, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this record. So if you like either of them, I have no doubt that you will too. Go check it out and let us know what you think in the replies.
