Gainesville, FL's Dikembe have sparked an interest in listeners over the past couple years because of their willingness to evolve: Their sophomore full-length, Mediumship, traded the barbed-wire energy from their introductory releases, the Chicago Bowls EP and their debut LP Broad Shoulders, for a somewhat more reclined approach. Ledge is Dikembe taking a focused and driven step forward, dedicated to evaluating and...

By now it should be no surprised to you that we're huge fans of Dikembe around these parts. I first fell in love with the band when I heard its four-song debut, Chicago Bowls, a few years ago; its energized take on anthemic indie/emo/punk with heart-on-sleeve lyricism brought in many fans. So I'm beyond stoked to be premiering the remastered version of the band's fantastic EP - you can stream it in the replies or at the band's AP.net profile. After you hear how much better Chicago Bowls sounds, make sure to pre-order the 7" from Tiny Engines here.

The band is tracking their sophomore LP now.
