Echo Screen will release their new EP, Goodbye Old Life, on August 4th. Produced by Ace Enders, the EP will contain five songs along with 13 additional tracks including covers, demos, and other unreleased material. Two of the songs are streaming on myspace.

Good morning boys and girls...or should I say, good morning west coast campers. Things have been infrequent and rather nebulous from the Echo Screen camp lately. But that will be changing. At least the frequency, because I still can't promise you'll understand a word I say. Anyways, the other boys are 30,000 feet above some Midwestern state as we speak, and we'll be heading up to Santa Barbara this weekend to record a cover for an upcoming Pacific Ridge Tom Petty tribute album, and hopefully pound out a demo or two. It should be a lot of fun...

So guys...I've been putting this message off for a couple of weeks, but its time to say it. I am moving to Los Angeles....crazy right??? My wife found out just before we left for the TRS/DLD tour that she had been offered a job at UCLA, doing EXACTLY what she wants to do...and I mean her dream job. So because of that, the decision was swift and merciless on my part, I have to go with her.
