It’s difficult, especially today because I feel like the education system, media, and the museums feel the need to make the sciences about “little explosions!” and “mixing this liquid with that liquid, woo!”. I think the most exciting thing for me is learning about stuff like cosmology, stuff that makes us feel really small and insignificant, that’s the most empowering thing.

Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari has posted a response to the video that appeared of him throwing punches at a fan that apparently "groped" him during a show in the UK. Full thing is in the replies.

Obviously violence is never the answer and I'm very unhappy personally with how I acted. I should have left the crowd and headed back to stage immediately when this started happening but due to the density of the crowd and the intensity of the situation things played out differently, I'm only human.

Enter Shikariwill release a new single titled "Radiate" on Monday June 10th. They're currently filming a video for it as well. This is the second song to be released of three they recorded early this year.
Enter Shikari have announced that, following a couple of years of frustration, drummer Rob Rolfe has finally acquired his US work visa and will be joining the band for their North American headline tour next month. In other news, the band have recently spent time at a studio in the north of England putting down three new tracks. The first of these tracks should see the light of day sometime very soon.
Enter Shikari have revealed their 'Return To Energiser 2013' tour, which takes in a load of towns that usually get overlooked. Hacktivist will be main support on all dates and more details are in the replies.
Enter Shikari has posted a free live EP recorded from an intimate show the band played in London back in February. You can download the EP here, while live footage from the show is also available here.
