ABC News is reporting that Isis, the band, has had to change the name of their Facebook page (to Isis the band) to avoid being confused with the that other ISIS.
"Fans have emailed us that they're reluctant to wear our T-shirts now and we've also gotten some off-color comments," Harris said.

Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno and former Isis members Aaron Harris, Clifford Meyer and Jeff Caxide have formed a new band called Palms. Their debut album will be released later this year on Ipecac Recordings.

Hydra Head Records will release a split 12" with ISIS and The Melvins on July 13th. The LP will be available from the bands on tour in mid-June.

Melvins will release The Bride Screamed Murder on June 1st via Ipecac Recordings. The band will be kicking off a tour featuring Isis and Totimoshi the same day; dates in the replies.

Isis has finished recording their new album with Matt Bayles (Mastodon, Botch). The disc is being released on October 31st through Ipecac.

ISIS has completed work on their new, as-of-yet untitled full-length. Mixing was finished last week and the effort will consist of eight songs clocking in at just over an hour. Ipecac Recordings will release the CD on October 31st.

ISIS will be heading into the studio in June with producer Matt Bayles (Minus The Bear, Botch). The disc is tentatively scheduled to be out on Halloween. Also, the band's DVD is currently being edited and should be out before the end of the Summer.
