That moment when you start listening to new music and you're completely floored. That's what happened to me when I started listening to Paper States' debut EP Be Alone. Much like Brighten, A Rocket To The Moon, or newer The Maine, it's just...fantastic. Warm guitar tones, soothing vocals, and big choruses, this will be a band to watch out for in 2013. Steve Soboslai (Punchline) lent his hand in this, helping the band during the preproduction phase while John Browne (Bright and Early) and Kory Gable (I Call Fives, Punchline) produced the record. Paper States released a new song called "Be Alone," the title track from the band's debut EP. You can listen to it here. The band is releasing the EP December 18th and the release show is December 15th at the Keynote Cafe in Jeannette, PA w/ Blue of Colors (Steve from Punchline). You can view the album artwork here.
