Quietdrive have released a new song called "Avalanche" on facebook. The band's new full-length entitled Up or Down will be out April 24th.

Quietdrive's new single "Lie To Me" is available to listen to on the band's facebook page. The tune comes from the band's upcoming album Up or Down due out later this Spring.

Quietdrive has released the track listing and artwork for their first full-length cover album, Your Record Our Spin; head to the replies to check them out. The record was launched through kickstarter earlier this summer and consists of 10 cover tracks that were handpicked by fans.

Quietdrive has introduced Your Record, Our Spin, an eleven-song album full of covers picked by fans. The idea is "1 dollar for 1 vote" — the more you donate the more votes you receive.

Quietdrive is giving away an acoustic version of their song "Always" in honor of Valentine's Day today. Says guitarist Justin Bonhiver, "Whether you have someone or not today, know that Quietdrive is always thinking of you.... in a totally non-creepy way, of course."

The four tracks are in support of the band's upcoming album, Deliverance, which is due out October 14th. Message From The Band

Recently we moved into the second phase of the materialization of our second album. For the non-nerds in the proverbial blog room mixing is the process of taking all of the recorded tracks and structuring them together in a way that achieves optimal sonic deliciousness. So sonic deliciousness is what we are achieving. We've been mixing our record with many different mixers that we know and respect, and we hope to have achieved the perfect mix for everyone for each individual song that we've created.

Your patience means the world to us as we've now reached a new plateau in the making of the second Quietdrive record. We can honestly say that the light at the end of the tunnel is in view, and before you know it the light will be in the rear view and you'll be holding our new album in your hands.

This week we're finishing up most of the tracking. The core of the album is done, but there's plenty of guitar, piano, strings, and especially vocals to do yet. Along with laying down the remaining tracks we have a whole array of humdrum editing to do (translation = staring at a computer screen for countless hours...

After spending the first part of the year writing and recording, we are finally stepping into the studio to record our second album, "Deliverance."
