Rancid and Rise Against will tour together this summer.
Message From the BandFew things are more exciting than watching Bush finally release America as his eight year hostage, but if anything could rival that news, it's this: We are more than pleased to announce that we will have the honor of touring the US & Canada with punk rock legends RANCID this summer. If Tim Armstrong didn't confirm it personally backstage in LA a few weeks ago, we wouldn't believe it either.

In the meantime, off to Europe with Anti-Flag, Strike Anywhere and the Flobots...stay tuned for updates from the road...and go check out our going away present to W, in the form of our new video for "Audience Of One."

You can find Matt Diehl's analysis on the punk rock music scene, My So-Called Punk, in book stores today.
Press ReleaseFrom its inception, punk was an underground revolution that raged against the mainstream. It expressed an unflinching need for self-expression and a passionate defense of individualism. Now punk is the mainstream: punk bands today sign with major labels, win Grammy awards, and receive corporate sponsorship all while sporting tattoos and Mohawks. What is the new punk? Does punk today prove a shock to the system, or did the system win in the end?
Anton Djamoos on 04/17/07 - 06:20 AM

Due to an unfortunate incident at their show last night, Rancid have postponed both the Buffalo and Toronto dates of their tour with Big D and the Kids Table. You can read a statement from Big D and the Kids Table regarding the incident below.
Rancid Shows PostponedUnfortunately the two shows we have with Rancid on September 1st and 3rd in Toronto and Buffalo have been postponed. Lars from Rancid collapsed on stage last night and is in the hospital for a few days. I'm pretty sure he's okay since they will be resuming the tour on the 4th. I don't know when these shows will be made up. We will still be playing Call the Office in London, ON on Saturday night.

We're all pulling for Lars...
