State Lines are taking an indefinite break.
probably a good time to address some information, as you probably couldve guessed/ or alot of you have just known from talking to us, the band is now inactive, we say inactive because when bands break up i think sometimes things tend to get corny and no band ever really officially seems to break up break up, to stop this from happening to us, we're just basically saying were inactive, incase the day shows up where we do get together to play a show. that being said i can pretty much guarantee that wont happen anytime soon. theres honestly no drama, we've been playing music together for the last 4 years, we started as teenagers and now were...

Long Island's State Lines will be releasing its Tiny Engines debut album, For The Boats, on April 30th. It's one of my favorite releases of the young new year so far, so I'm thrilled that we get to premiere "Shady Existence," which is one of the coolest songs off the LP. The song features an awesome hip-hop intro (courtesy of Jovi) before launching into the band's brand of raw punk that's in the vein of Tigers Jaw and early Saves The Day. So check out the song over at the band's AP.net profile or in the replies. The band will be playing at the upcoming Today's Mixtape Festival and Stay Sweet Fest in April, so make sure you check them out there as well.

Today we're streaming a new song from State Lines, which recently signed to Tiny Engines and will be releasing its self-titled 7" on May 29. The band plays a rougher brand of the type of indie-punk that fans of Tigers Jaw and similar artists will enjoy, so if that interests you, get your first taste of the group by heading to its AP.net Profile or the replies to stream "5's On the Elephant," which is the opening track from the EP. Leave your thoughts and if you like the song, grab their previous release, Hoffman Manor, for free here.
