Rise Records has signed The Jealous Sound. This new partnership will commence February 5th, 2013 with the re-release of their latest full length album entitled, A Gentle Reminder. The new deluxe digipak version will include 4 bonus tracks including a brand new song and the 2008 Got Friends EP. The double vinyl LP version will include those as well as 2 remixes of the song “Got Friends” including one by Jimmy Tamborello of The Postal Service. In addition, Rise will be re-releasing their first 2 albums as one deluxe version. The self titled EP and Kill Them with Kindness albums will be re-released in the summer of 2013. Balance And Composure have announced a 2013 Winter tour with support from The Jealous Sound and Daylight. Head to replies for dates.

The Jealous Sound is heading out on tour this fall and they're taking Daytrader with them. Rise Records will be releasing a limited edition tour 7" featuring tracks from both bands. You can peep the tour dates and press release in the replies.

The Jealous Sound are currently in the studio working on a new album, their first full length since Kill Them With Kindness in 2003. They hope to be done by the end of March, and plan to tour this summer.

The limited edition 2xLP colored vinyl release had 333 pressed on Baby Blue vinyl and 667 on Cloud White vinyl. Three sides feature the 12-song Kill Them... plus a fourth side with the band's five song debut EP. You can order it here.
