Something is always getting pushed back – if I say something comes out in May, it’s going to come out in July. That seems to be the common situation. So my way of dealing with that is just constantly writing. I’ll deal with whenever something comes out, but I want to have stuff ready for the future. I never want to be in that position when it’s time to put out a new song, and I don’t anything to release. So literally every day, I’m trying to write a song, trying to get something done.

The Ready Set currently have 25 songs for their next album written and will be working on more for the record in the coming months.

I think we’re gonna do something like a special edition where we put a bunch of new songs on I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming for a re-release. The first release of it was kind of under the radar so hopefully a re-release can give it the boost it needs. As far as more new music goes, we hope to release a new EP sometime in the summer, maybe a new album this year? We’ll see, only time will tell.
