The Vaccines and R. Stevie Moore will be covering eachother for a special Record Store Day release. The Vaccines will take on Moore 1986 track, "Why Should I Love you?" whilst Moore will be covering the band's single "Post Break-Up Sex". The limited release will hit shelves on April 21st.

The Vaccines' debut album has been announced as the Xfm "New Music Award" winner. The award was decided by a panel of judges featuring Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Dom Howard and Chris Wolstenholme (Muse), Tom Smith (Editors), Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Charlie Fink (Noah and The Whale), Craig Potter (Elbow) as well Xfm radio hosts. The Vaccines frontman, Justin Young, has revealed that the band will record and release their new album this year. They will be working with producer Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Laura Marling) and start recording in March.

It's mostly written and we're going into the studio in Belgium in March to start recording so it'll definitely be out this year, without a doubt. We've definitely got six songs written that we all want to be on the record, but there's tonnes of other new songs and we're actually going into the studio out in Australia to work on ideas.

The Vaccines will release their new double a-side single on December 4. The release features album track "Wetsuit" and new song, "Tiger Blood", which was produced by The Strokes' Albert Hammond Jr.

Summer Camp will release their new single, "Down" on November 7. Their debut album, Welcome To Condale, is release on October 31 and they will be supporting The Vaccines and Surfer Blood in London, England later this year.
