Corey Warning (The Graduate) and Tony Peck (The Forecast) have started a new band called Lincoln-Douglas Street Fighter. They are playing one show in Quincy, IL on December 10th at the State Room with Asa Dawson's (Junior Varsity) new band Palace Flophouse. If anyone donates to either The Graduate's Kickstarter or The Forecast's Kickstarter, they get $2 off the $10 admission price.
Corey Warning of The Graduate and Tony Peck of The Forecast will be hosting their own radio hours at 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. CST, respectively. Come closer to the time of the show, they'll be posting streaming links on their twitters.
The Forecast, the sweethearts that they are, are offering the AP.net community a free download of their new song "Illinois". Their self-titled album will release on Feb. 16th off Eyeball Records. To download and also stream the new song, head to the band's AP.net Profile.
The Forecast will be releasing their new self-titled album on Eyeball records on February 16th (click here to pre-order). It will be released both digitally and as a vinyl LP. There will be a limited pressing of CDs for their two record release shows and for upcoming tours. Also, a new song "Lost At Sea" is posted on their myspace, where you can find information on their upcoming release shows.
The Forecast will be releasing a limited edition EP by the end of the year; the EP will be individually numbered and will include two new songs, acoustic versions of "Carry Me Home" and "We All Return To Our Roots," and a cover.
Spitalfield have added new dates to their farewell tour with The Forecast, The Graduate, Ludo (11/8 - 11/21) and Attention (11/28 - 12/9), which you can find in the replies. Tickets go on sale tomorrow and you can purchase them here.
On Saturday, April 7th, The Forecast will be performing a free show at the Levi's store on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. The in-store is slated for a 2 PM start, and fans can expect a full acoustic set from the group.
