Chris Pollock, former drummer of VersaEmerge, has started a new project called Passagemaker. The band has released instrumental demos and is currently holding auditions for a lead singer.

In a new interview, Sierra Kusterbeck of VersaEmerge says that the band will be writing a new album this summer and hope to have it released in early-2012. She also discusses her experiences on the AP Tour.

They’re like, “I think you should be headlining. Why aren’t you headlining? Why aren’t you direct support? Why aren’t you this?” Like, why does that matter? We’re still playing the damn show. I didn’t see the point in it. There’s definitely nothing negative for it on our side. I’m just stoked that kids want to see us.

The Dangerous Summer dropped off the Vultures Unite tour (VersaEmerge, Anarbor, Conditions) last night, the 16th, after VersaEmerge Devin Ingelido threw a beer bottle at the The Dangerous Summer guitarist Cody Payne. The band was also "cut off" and "thrown out" of the venue.
