Tom DeLonge has talked with NME, and says Blink-182 have "solved the puzzle" for how to release their new album.
"We've just started the conversation in the past couple of days of when/where and how to start recording," he said. "We've been kind of taking our time trying to figure out the best way to put the record out, you know. I think we just solved that puzzle a couple of weeks ago. I don’t think we have anything to prove. I think we have to just try and go into it and try to make the best album of our career and create a situation that’s really creative and conducive to that idea"

Tom DeLonge recently talked with Gigwise.
I’m not totally sure how it’s going to work but the goal is to find an area or an environment that’s different and not just a normal studio to be together as were architect the songs and inspire each other in ways that we did back in that timeframe. I think if we can pull off those few things we’ll be in really really good shape. We’ve always done what we liked, and on the Untitled record there was a lot of debate where we thought our fans wouldn’t even like it, but I think we succeeded by sticking to what we wanted to do, and it turned out to be the one that the fans like the most.

Tom DeLonge of Blink-182 and Angels and Airwaves, speaking to Faster Louder:
"I tell people condoning streaming is like condoning the Chinese that are killing elephants for their tusks and carving ivory statues,” he railed. “It’s cool to put on your shelf but if you really think about what you’re doing it sucks. Streaming music is doing the same thing to artists – might not be killing ’em but it’s killing the industry. It might be cool for you as somebody that likes music but you’re not really thinking about the effect it has. We’ve got to value our art, you know?"

In a recent radio interview, Tom Delonge stated that Blink 182 have found a new partner to release their upcoming album.
We've been searching vigorously for a partner of how we're going to put that out. I literally think I got the last email last night, as far as signing this paperwork to say, "Okay, this is our partner." So, I can't announce anything yet, but next is all the scheduling of when and how, where and with whom we do it. So I think the goal is right after the holidays, we're going to be going pretty hardcore

Tom DeLonge did an interview with Diffuser.
I think when I was envisioning what this was going to be, I look up to the greats like your Disneys and Marvels and DC Comics and all those kind of intellectual property rights kind of companies, but a lot of them were unrelatable to me because I wasn’t going to do a bunch of stuff about superheroes. I wanted to be more philosophical and cerebral in some ways. So, I got really hot on the idea of creating a reoccurring character around themes of human behavior or humanity. The first one, the ‘Love’ project, was all about human consciousness and connection and losing everybody around you to realize the importance of every relationship around...

Tom DeLonge sat down with Wondering Sound to talk about Enema of the State, AVA, and more.
We [worked in] three studios in the course of three or four months. Our first record took us three days, our second record took us four to six weeks or something, and Enema of the State was a three- or four-month thing. And then the next one was six months, and the next one was a year. I remember moving around a couple times in that three-month period, but we had a lot of jokes, we felt really good — we felt like we sounded good. It was the first time we felt we sounded good, so it was exciting.

Heading to Reading or Leeds Festival this weekend in the UK? If you are, Blink 182 are promising something a little different for their headline slots.
"We're going to play some songs off our last EP, songs that we haven't played in Europe," he says. "That came out at the end of 2012, so we'll do that, and then we'll play a lot of the classics, but we'll have something special that we haven't played for a long, long time that we've brought back and people are going to love that."

However, fans expecting new material will have to wait, he adds: "We don't play stuff that's not released. We'd rather a nice version of the song be the first that's out, a good-sounding version. And we...

Sammy Maine wrote a piece for Drowned in Sound on if enjoying Blink-182 makes her a bad feminist.
Are Blink 182 a bunch of misogynists? Maybe. Are they the heroes of banishing cultural stereotypes that feminism strives to abolish too? Maybe. There will always be arguments for both sides but it’s in the creation of such discussions that feminism has flourished. The fact that we’re even talking about stuff like this – in culture, in media and in our everyday lives – is massive. Liking ‘problematic’ media doesn’t stop me from being any less of a feminist.

Rockfreaks.net recently interviewed Mark Hoppus of Blink-182. They talk of going into the studio at the end of the year to record a new album (Mark mentions moving back to LA at the end of the summer for the recording process). He also mentions that he'd "love to" do another +44 album at some point, but there aren't any plans yet for one.
We are basically at the very beginning of the process. We were going to start recording at the beginning of this year, but there were some things happening in some of our personal lives that prevented us from getting in the studio, so now we are getting in the studio at the end of this year instead. We have the beginning of song ideas at this point,...

Tom DeLonge sat down with Alternative Press to look at Macbeth Clothing.
We are all musicians, and we get it. We've lived in a rank van on tour, slept in parking lots between shows, spent sleepless nights in the studio and have experienced the magic that happens onstage connecting with fans. We aren't just corporate dudes sitting in an office somewhere trying to slap someone’s logo on our product because we read a memo that said it was a good idea. We live and breathe the culture and lifestyle. We made it part of our entire brand—not just a marketing initiative.

On the newest episode of Darren Rose Radio, Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba mentions that he is recording a record for a new side project of punk songs for kids. The band is called The Cereal Killers and will feature Mark Hoppus on bass. One of the songs Skiba mentions is called "I Want To Be A Spider" which is about a little boy who wishes he was a spider so he could scare the girls in his class.
