Butch Walker's new song "Afraid of Ghosts" is stream in in the replies and on Esquire, where they have an interview with Butch.
I felt like a musical sponge growing up. Something would appeal to me and I would embrace it full-force. I think I'm a complete addict at heart. That's the reason I can't do drugs or anything like that because I go too hard with it, whatever I do. Musically I think it was the same thing. I couldn't just be bothered with one style or one kind of music or one instrument. No one scene, I guess you could say. There's too much good stuff out there to be inspired by.

Butch Walker just posted a bunch of tweets in a row addressing when fans think a producer changed a band and how Fall Out Boy and Panic! at the Disco don't want to keep making 90's pop-punk albums.
I love how people assume when I work with an artist that the actual ARTIST has nothing to do with deciding how it will sound. I love my day job, but these kind of shallow assumptions take some fun out of it. I've seen em say the producer "ruined their favorite band." ..When most people have no clue what they are talking about or how it works. Sometimes, God Forbid, the ARTIST comes in with their vision. Good on Panic and FOB for wanting to evolve and change. Most bands in their scene can't...

During the interview, Carrabba opened up about his long-held aspiration to pursue folk music, the slow and steady formation of the new band, an upcoming tour with Augustana, his current feelings about his other musical projects, his opinions on the modern mainstream folk resurgence, and his friendship with Butch Walker.
