Cassino's Kingprince is up for preorder in a 2xLP format containing bonus tracks from the band's B-side collection, The Weight of Bother. The pressing is limited to 100 black vinyl and 100 clear vinyl with blue ink and all jackets are hand-screened. The bundle option includes both variants and a free copy of Hailey, It Happens' Aurora. The first 50 orders will receive a a lifetime discount for releases from the label.
Cassino updated their website with information regarding plans to start recording a new album this winter. They have also released a demo of a new song titled "The Rose of Lee" on bandcamp.
Cassino started the mixing process for a 6 song EP that will feature demo and alternate unreleased versions of previously released songs. It will only be sold digitally, and should be online by May. It will feature 2 different versions of the song “Cannonball” (instrumental and demo/acoustic), a full band version of “Tin Man’s Throne”, an alternate take on “Maddie Bloom,” "Conrad" (a Jets to Brazil cover) and a Sounds of Salvation-era version of “The River”. More details forthcoming.

Cassino have re-recorded "The Gin War" by themselves and posted it on their myspace. About the new version, the Nick says, "if anyone is curious about what direction our new album will take, it will be similar."
An AP.net reader/detective talked to Cassino's touring guitarist about Cassino's appearance at the Triple Crown Anniversary show and the inclusion of Northstar songs.
