Destiny Worldwide has announced their new compilation, Rockin' Romance, which will consist of bands such as A Change of Pace and Daphne Loves Derby and many others covering popular love songs. The compilation will be out April 28th, and starting on Valentine's Day, they will be announcing one band per day. As a teaser, check out A Change of Pace's cover of LFO's "Summer Girls" on the Rockin' Romance myspace page.
Jason Call (ex-Daphne Loves Derby) recently released a new song on his Peru blog, featuring Paul Benson of This Providence, members of Push Push Pull, and many other musicians around the world. The song started in Peru, but then was sent to different places all around the world. Jason sent rough tracks to friends on buddy lists, and then received the collaborated tracks and mixed them into the final song. All was accomplished without ever having a spoken conversation or actually seeing each other in person.

Tonight in the Eyeball Records AP.net chat, the staff announced two band signings: Man Without Wax and Wolftron (side project of Kenny Choi from Daphne Loves Derby). It was also disclosed that another band will be announced next Tuesday, Feb. 19th. This band's full-length label debut will also be released that day.

Indie-rock outfit Daphne Loves Derby, who recently reached ten million plays online, have made an alternate version of "Stranger, You and I" available for streaming right here. Furthermore, the act has announced support for their upcoming headlining tour, on which the group will be joined by This Providence, The Higher, and The Reign of Kindo. Daphne Loves Derby are set to perform at a special show presented by Seattle Modern Rock station The End 107.7 this Friday, July 6th at El Corazon. Opening for the band is Forgive Durden, Man Without Wax and Search/Rescue (featuring ex members of Gatsby's American Dream/Acceptance). Prior to the show the band will play a live, on-air acoustic set and do an interview with the station at 6pm.
Daphne Loves Derby will be playing their CD release show for their new album Good Night, Witness Light on March 29th at the Chain Reaction in California with Lydia, and Self Against City.
