Hanson recently helped pull together a 12 hour livestream with SXSW4Japan.org to raise money for Japan. Online donations have topped $100,000, and a much larger amount was directed straight to the American Red Cross via their national text donation number. Jarrod Gorbel will be touring with Fun. and Steel Train from September to October and then will be on tour with Hanson for all of November. His debut solo album Devil's Made A New Friend is out next Tuesday the 31st, and all dates are in the replies.

Isaac Hanson, who recently was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism, underwent life-saving surgery earlier today. The surgery was a success and Isaac is due to be released from the hospital on Friday and be back for Hanson's current The Walk Tour on October 8. The band is currently working to reschedule both canceled dates as a result of this event.
Isaac Hanson was sent to the hospital yesterday after complaining of severe pains in his shoulder and chest after a performance in Dallas. He has been diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and we would like to wish him a speedy recovery. No announcements have yet been made about the duration of their tour.
